Ford Motor Company Selects CADfix
MILFORD, OH; DECEMBER 20, 1999 -- International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), the world's leading provider of product data interoperability solutions, announces that Ford Motor Company has selected the company's CADfix CAD model healing and repair software tool. The leading automotive OEM has acquired multiple seats of CADfix, along with technical support, for migrating legacy PDGS® data into I-DEAS. The tool will also be used to improve CAD model interoperability between departments and with suppliers.
"CADfix provides Ford with capabilities necessary to migrate legacy wireframe and surface data into a solids environment," explained Mark Haines, Interoperability Specialist for ITI. "Using CADfix allows Ford to significantly reduce or eliminate CAD model rework. The result will be reflected in bottom line cost and time to market savings."
