ITI TranscenData appoints new CADfix reseller.
ITI TranscenData has appointed a new UK reseller for CADfix, its leading CAD translation and repair software. Northampton-based DX Solutions has been established specifically to supply interoperability software by founder Matt Baker, who has more than five years experience working in the CAD/CAM/CAE channel. CADfix will be DX's flagship product.
"Having worked with CADfix in the past, I know what an important part it can play in facilitating the reuse of engineering data," says Baker. "Companies up and down the supply chain are routinely working on the same CAD geometry in several different applications. Without CADfix, though, the amount of geometry reworking that needs to be done can seriously eat into a project's time and therefore make a huge impact on the bottom line."
CADfix boasts a comprehensive suite of tools for the efficient translation and repair of CAD/CAM/CAE geometry. The power of its knowledge-based automated translators derives from 25 years experience in the subtleties of 3D geometry handling in different applications. These translators are backed up by sophisticated analytical and interactive manipulation tools that take CADfix beyond the scope of most "black box" translators that can simply fail when presented with certain geometric anomalies.
