CADfix import functionality expanded to include native Pro/ENGINEER.
ITI TranscenData, the product data interoperability business of International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), announces that CADfix® version 5.2 will provide users with the ability to import and export native files directly from Pro/ENGINEER®.

Improved automation
CADfix 5.2 represents a new level in automated CAD model healing. ITI
TranscenData has analysed the most common causes of translation failures and
built the solutions into the CADfix 5.2 Wizard, resulting in dramatic
improvements in the success of the initial automatic translation pass. The
automated Wizard allows users to define translation parameters via a simple
graphical interface. Translation paths that "fail" result in the deployment of
interactive repair tools, providing the user with the ability to continue
improving the data.
