TranscenData expands into the German market.
TranscenData Europe (formally FEGS) has expanded its German operations with the recruitment of Sales Manager Werner Hochreiter to concentrate on sales throughout southern Germany. This coincides with the company's decision to launch an extensive awareness campaign throughout the country.
For more than 30 years Herr Hochreiter has been a major player in the German CAD/CAM/CAE and PDM markets. His list of accomplishments in these areas is extensive, including establishing and running the MEDUSA sales organisation, and, more recently, running Radan's operations in Germany. One of his principal areas of responsibility will be to concentrate on sales of TrancenData's primary interoperability tool, CADfix.
Herr Hochreiter comments on the German marketing plans:
"We believe that the German market presents TranscenData with a huge
opportunity. Long time users of various CAD/CAM/CAE systems in Germany have
often built up large databases of CAD data, and to migrate masses of
information to a new CAD/CAM systems, provides an obvious need for powerful
software like CADfix to convert existing data with minimal loss."
In addition to CADfix, TranscenData will also market and support a full range of CAD/CAM/CAE interoperability solutions throughout Germany.
These additional solutions offered include CADIQ (for model data integrity and quality testing), IGESworks (for 2D and 3D IGES file flavouring), DEXcenter (automated CAD model translation and exchange), PDElib (translator developer toolkit) and CADscript (providing multi CAD, platform independent programming interfaces).
The company plans to invest in sales and technical staff, training, technology, support and marketing, allowing TranscenData to grow rapidly in Germany. In addition TranscenData will embark on an extensive PR campaign, building awareness of both the company and its products and supporting its ongoing sales drive. Currently, TranscenData has established sales teams in both the Northern and Southern regions of the country. TranscenData will be offering its products not only as packaged, stand-alone tools, but also as components in more comprehensive tailor-made solutions.
